When will I receive my USB?
Photos take approximately 2 weeks to edit. As soon as they are ready I will email you with a link for an instant download. From there, I will mail your USB the next business day so you can have a tangible product in hand. If you are upgrading to the hi-resoltion package, please allow an additional 2 weeks for the Image Box and prints to arrive at your door. Instant download is also available for hi-res files so you don’t have to wait the additional 2 weeks : )
When should I schedule my maternity session?
I suggest photographing right around 34-36 weeks. I find women are still comfortable at this point in their pregnancy and the “baby bump” is at it’s most beautiful.
How do I schedule a newborn session if I don’t know when the baby will be born?
Give me a shout while you are still pregnant and let me know your expectant due date. This way I can leave some openings both before and after to accommodate an early or late arrival. Then when you are home from the hospital contact me again to arrange a confirmed date and time. The best time for newborn photos is when they under 2 weeks old, as they are still very sleepy and tranquil and able to be posed easier.
If you didn’t manage to let me know in advance about your new little one, and you are now home and wanting newborn photos, please give me a shout as soon as possible and I will try my best to fit you in.
How much does it cost?
We offer a simple all inclusive pricing format. Please check out our pricing page here.
What should we wear to the session?
You will have access to the “what to wear guide” when you book your session.
Do you offer custom cards?
We no longer offer cards, but with your digital files you can create as many as you like!
Where do you get your products printed?
I use a vendor located in the US, but they unfortunately do not serve the general public. Your digital package includes detailed printing instructions as well as suggestions on printers.
Where should we hold the session?
Newborns are photographed in studio only. This is simply because I have so many props/blankets and other items that are very hard to transport back and forth. Plus the lighting is amazing and you don’t have to be subjected to set up and clean up ; )
For family sessions, that is completely up to you. You can choose my Waterfront studio or from a list of a few of my favorite places around the Winnipeg area, but I am always open to new places. Once your session is booked we can discuss the kind of look and feel you want your images to portray and find a suitable location.
How and where should I print my digital files?
I give a complete list of easy to follow instructions as well as printer recommendations when you purchase your digital files.
Do you photograph weddings?
Unfortunately at this time, I do not. For now I am putting all my focus into family related photography. I can gladly refer you to some fabulous ladies that do amazing wedding photos, just drop me an email.
