FAQ

Why is the online gallery only up for 2 days?

This is a more structured time frame which allows me to give you the individual attention you deserve. I can help you with wall design ideas, albums, creating custom cards, or anything else you would like assistance with.

When should I schedule my maternity session?

I suggest photographing right around 34-36 weeks. I find women are still comfortable at this point in their pregnancy and the “baby bump” is at it’s most beautiful.

How do I schedule a newborn session if I don’t know when the baby will be born?

Give me a shout while you are still pregnant and let me know the approximate due date. This way I can leave some openings around this time to accommodate your new arrival. I’m only half joking when I say call me from the hospital when the baby is born to arrange a date. The best time for newborn photos is when they under 2 weeks old, as they are still very sleepy and tranquil and able to be posed easier.

If you didn’t manage to let me know in advance about your new little one, and you are now home and wanting newborn photos, please give me a shout as soon as possible and I will try my best to fit you in.

How much does it cost?

Sessions are $125, add a maternity session to a booked newborn session for only $75. Prints start at $20 for a 5×7. Please contact me for more information and a full price list.

Do you photograph weddings?

Unfortunately at this time, I do not. For now I am putting all my focus into family related photography. I can gladly refer you to some fabulous ladies that do amazing wedding photos, just drop me an email.

What should we wear to the session?

You will have access to the “what to wear guide” when you book your session. If you still want help, give me a shout, I’m more than happy to help out.

Do you offer custom cards?

Absolutely! I love making cards. I create them from scratch so that they are unique to you and your images.

Where do you get your products printed?

I use several different printers and vendors, both in Canada and the US, but they do not serve the general public. If you would like some suggestions on where you can print, I can definitely recommend a few.

Where should we hold the session?

Newborns are photographed in studio only. This is simply because I have so many props/blankets and other items that are very hard to transport back and forth. Plus the lighting is amazing and you don’t have to be subjected to set up and clean up ; )

For family sessions, that is completely up to you. You can choose my spacious studio downtown or from a list of a few of my favorite places around the Winnipeg area, but I am always open to new places. Once your session is booked we can discuss the kind of look and feel you want your images to portray and find a suitable location.

How and where should I print my digital files?

I give a complete list of easy to follow instructions as well as printer recommendations when you purchase your digital files.

If you still have any questions after reading the above FAQ’s, please do not hesitate to contact me.
